Examining the Path to Genocide: Is this where the Obama Regime is leading us? You decide. STAGE TWO

Examining the Path to Genocide

Stage Two:  "Symbolization"

The updated 10-Point Path I will be examining in the following weeks and comparing it to current conditions in the US today were written by Gregory H. Stanton of US branch of the International Alliance to End Genocide.

This post is Stage II of X, and follows Stage I which was posted last week.
If you have not yet read Stage I, it might be helpful to do so before continuing to read.

SYMBOLIZATION: We give names or other symbols to the classifications. We name people “Jews” or “Gypsies”, or distinguish them by colors or dress; and apply the symbols to members of groups. Classification and symbolization are universally human and do not necessarily result in genocide unless they lead to dehumanization. When combined with hatred, symbols may be forced upon unwilling members of pariah groups: the yellow star for Jews under Nazi rule, the blue scarf for people from the Eastern Zone in Khmer Rouge Cambodia. To combat symbolization, hate symbols can be legally forbidden (swastikas) as can hate speech. Group marking like gang clothing or tribal scarring can be outlawed, as well. The problem is that legal limitations will fail if unsupported by popular cultural enforcement. Though Hutu and Tutsi were forbidden words in Burundi until the 1980’s, code words replaced them. If widely supported, however, denial of symbolization can be powerful, as it was in Bulgaria, where the government refused to supply enough yellow badges and at least eighty percent of Jews did not wear them, depriving the yellow star of its significance as a Nazi symbol for Jews.

Now, if you are a White, Conservative Christian, living under the Obama Regime, ask yourself:

How are Symbols being assigned to White, Conservative Christians by the Obama Regime that  mark them as the "out-group" and therefore it is acceptable to dehumanize them and devalue their worth as equal citizens with equal rights?
That is the question that one must ask oneself if we are to consider if Americans are being nudged further along the path to the conditions for Genocide, and if so, each individual must make their own determination as to where we are on the continuum.

I would posit that the following SYMBOLS are used to separate, categorize and dehumanize White Conservative Christians in America by this administration, the media and academia.

White Skin in and of itself is a SYMBOL being used to mock, discourage, diminish, dismiss and dehumanize White people in the United States and throughout the majority White western countries.

White Skin itself is used as a Symbol to sort and dehumanize a specific group

"Conservative" embodies a plethora of Symbols and Code Words that more than meet the criteria for "Symbolization designed to dehumanize".

Obama's statement mocking Conservative Americans as being "bitter" people who "clung to their guns and bibles" reviewed last week in Stage I is an example of Code Words that attribute Symbology to the "out-group".

Media mockery of people peacefully protesting as "TeaBaggers" (a sexual slur) is another.

"Racist" is a code word that is applied only to White people, and the use of the term has evolved such that a celebrities like Oprah now openly call for the death and dissolution of White people.

Mocking Christian symbols and art is a key step towards "Symbolization"

Christian symbols, such as the wearing of crucifixes, doves or other jewelry expressing one's faith have been outlawed in many workplaces, as have nativity scenes in public spaces.  Instead of making room for all faiths, the trend has been to isolate, demonize and dismiss Christian symbols as a way of dehumanizing Christians, specifically White Christians.  Likewise, Christian prayer is outlawed by fiat, whereas Islamic prayer is encouraged and taught under the guise of advancing "tolerance" and building "global citizens".

Choosing to wear a crucifix transcends being an expression faith but an act of Rebellion and political dissidence.

Mull this over.  Decide for yourself whether or not the political conditions in this country have met the criteria for Stage Two.

It takes courage if you are a member of the designated "out-group" to sound the alarm, assert your rights and do the work needed to reverse the continuum.

Next Wednesday we will examine Stage Three.
