Ted Cruz is a real threat to the Fabian progressives: educated, cultured and able to effortless pierce their shibboleths without hesitation, he is a prime target for their ongoing campaign to “isolate, marginalize and ridicule” their opposition, instead of engaging on the facts.
The following AP filed story is a classic example of how the mainstream media manipulates language and facts to advance a position in keeping with their ideological view – in this case, that all pro-life supporters are unhinged, when in fact, it was the “pro-abortion” activists who conducted themselves in an extremist and deliberately provocative fashion. The AP led their story by implying that Senator Cruz had called pro-abortionists “Satan Worshippers”, when he stated that they were chanting “Hail Satan” at pro-life activists.

If you are new to the concept of having to deconstruct what you read or see in the mainstream press, a good place to start with your self-education is to bookmark Brent Bozell's site, "Media Research Center" as a good primer to how the corporate media frames and dishonestly slants the "news".
Don't "trust", verify.
|One of the mainstream media's favorite tricks to diminish the credibility of Republican candidates in the eyes of "squishy middle" voters who don't follow the policy arguments closely is to post updates on Republican candidates in the "Entertainment" section - subtle as a brick through a window. They've already tried to "Entertainment-ize" Donald Trump repeatedly.|
